Tracey manages the policy, consents and statutory support teams of Planning Services. Tracey provides overarching direction on the review and implementation of the District Plan.
Tracey is managing the production of the Residential, City Centre/Lakefront, Airport, Rural, Rural Enhancement, and Site Suitability and Subdivision chapters. Tracey is also responsible for developing the urban design response and is a member of the zoning and mapping working groups.
Pasky provides administration support to the Manager Planning Services and the Policy Planning Team. Pasky's main job in the review is data control and formatting the new chapters.
Liam has managed the policy team since 2007. As well as overall project management of the plan review process with the Manager Planning Services, Liam manages the production of the Issues of Importance to Maori, Matters of National Importance, Rural Zone, and Definitions chapters.
Joanne has been with Council since the last district plan review and her extensive experience in resource management in Rotorua benefits a number of district plan working groups. She leads the review of the Hazardous Substances chapter and has major input to the Site Suitability and Subdivision chapter.
Paulina joined the policy team in 2008 from a similar role at Taupo District Council. The chapters that Paulina leads are Tourism and Events, Reserves and Recreation, Financial Contributions, City Centre/Lakefront, Commercial, and Business and Innovation. Paulina also provides support for the preparation of the Matters of National Importance chapter.
Anabella joined the Planning Services team in 2005 and has worked on district plan monitoring and the state of the environment report. Anabella leads the preparation of the Rural Zone, Issues of Importance to Maori and Matters of National Importance chapters. Anabella will also be responsible for preparing the Section 32 report and ensuring sustainability and energy efficiency aspects are reflected in the notified version of the proposed plan.
Simon initially joined Council as a student during holiday periods while studying at Victoria University. Simon is co-ordinating the production of the district plan maps in conjunction with Council's GIS team, and is responsible for the signage provisions research project, scheduled sites review, and district plan appendices.
Ella joined Council in January 2010. Ella worked as planner in both the local government and private sector in South Africa. Ella is leading the review of designations, the preparation of the Natural Hazards, Industrial and Sustainable Infrastructure chapters, and is involved in developing a response to CBD parking policy.
